CAT GAMER was hard held behind the early pace, saved ground and bided time to the far turn, tipped out to the two path at the head of the stretch, wore down LISTENTOTHEMUSIC on the lead and edged clear in the final yards. LISTENTOTHEMUSIC seized the early lead on the first turn, got some pressure from a pair of rivals in the run down the backstretch, shook free of both late on the turn, kicked on in upper stretch, but could not hold back the winner while well clear of the next finisher. DARYL'S BOLT was the inside horse in the trio at the back, saved ground throughout, and ran on late up along the rail to gain the minor award. T BONES TRICK raced between foes at the back, came four to five wide into the stretch, and made a belated rally to improve. DONEGAL FREEDOM pressed the early pace two-deep, loomed a big threat at the top of the stretch, but was unable to sustain the bid and flattened. MOR LANA SPIRIT moved up after the first turn race close to the early pace, then was outkicked in the stretch. SPECIAL MOMENT settled three-wide in the middle of the pack, kept to task late but was unable to improve. SCHIFTY'S HALOID raced three-wide at the back of the pack, came out four-wide into the stretch, and lacked a finish. MALIBU RAIN pulled forward to press the pace three-wide, weakened midway through the turn, then had little to offer in the stretch.
