WEST OF TOWN set a pressured pace from between runners, was asked and began edging away past the quarter pole, kicked clear in upper stretch, came out a bit in the lane under steady handling and just lasted. BOLT SUPREMACY was bumped into a rival at the start and in tight steadying slight, settled off the pace toward the rear, raced outside on the turn going four to five deep, gained steadily in the stretch but missed. MAXXUS exchanged a bump at the start, settled off the pace, shifted in a bit nearer but off the fence heading into the turn and to the rail leaving that bend, rallied some along the inside but needed more. WAR SPIRIT broke outwardly bumping a rival at the start, attended the pace from outside, drifted a bit leaving the turn while weakening and under urging, faded in the stretch. STRETCH settled off the pace and off the inside, went three to four wide on the turn, altered out in mid stretch then ran on evenly. MIDNIGHT HUNTER broke a step slowly and lacked early speed bringing up the rear, saved ground on the turn, came out seven wide in upper stretch, was never near enough to threaten. FROZENTAP broke a half-step slowly then was strongly urged forward inside, applied pressure to the eventual winner briefly forcing the issue, weakened and gave way.
