Footnotes
SURVEILLANCE settled off of the early pace while never far back, angled out into the turn then asked for run four wide to upper stretch, responded well into the lane, made a sustained rally to the final sixteenth, took command in deep stretch and held over the oncoming runner-up. LET'S GO MARK allowed to settle in the early stages, coaxed two wide to the quarter marker, weaved through rivals into the final furlong, closed well into the final sixteenth and just missed for the win, while holding safely for the place honors. SAWASDEE hustled away from the start, contested the early pace three deep, took command along the bend then led from the two path nearing the quarter marker, came in a bit nearing the top of the lane and crowded inner rival, dug in to upper stretch and led into the final furlong, was overtaken past the sixteenth-marker and yielded to the top pair late, while holding for the show. USUALLY WRONG disputed the early pace from between foes, pressed into the turn then took back and angled three wide nearing the top of the lane, battled while within range into the final furlong, could not muster the needed late response and flattened out in deep stretch. JACKMAN'S RIDE broke alertly and was hard sent from the gate, contested the early pace from inside of a pair of rivals, dueled into the turn, was crowded nearing the quarter marker then checked at that station, fought on into upper stretch, lacked a final response to deep stretch and faded late. HIGH FRONT unhurried in the early running, coaxed three wide into the turn, shifted to the inside nearing the top of the lane then angled back out for the drive, offered a mild late rally but needed more in deep stretch. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING ON THE TURN. IN ADDITION THE JOCKEY ON JACKMAN'S RIDE LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST SAWASDEE, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE NEARING THE TOP OF THE STRETCH. THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THE OBJECTION AND RULED NO CHANGE.
