INDY ROAD broke well toward the inside, narrowly showed the way into the first bend, dueled onto and up much of the backstretch, disposed of the other speed to be clear in the far turn, shaken up for the drive and stayed clear to the wire while being kept to pressure. FORTY TWENTY in the second flight between horses, shifted out four wide late backstretch, advanced to reach a position closest to the winner turning into the stretch, could not get to that one, clearly second best. SPECIAL AGENDA lacked early foot off the inside, began a mild advance from between horses far turn, came three wide for the drive, came in a bit in upper stretch, no match for the top two while prevailing for the show. RUNNING POINT broke on top, asked along early, failed to make the front end, prompted the issue off the inside the middle half, asked, had little left for the drive, outkicked for the third spot. SPECTACLE last to leave, continued to lag well back, came five wide out of the final turn, improved position after the issue had been decided. COLLEAGUE away in good order, dueled early inside the winner, fell back off that one after a half and steadily faded. BATTALION LEADER failed to menace while racing three wide. WOLF TOOTH was finished after a half while racing along the inside.
