Footnotes
HELICITY was allowed to settle early, was hard held from the inside, waited for room into the home turn, found room, angled out, was gaining steadily and was best. MAGNOLIA WEST followed the early pace, raced four wide into the turn, met the bid of the winner, dueled to late stretch and was second best. ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN tracked the early pace, raced five wide into the second turn, kept on deep stretch and finished a game third. MARC was reserved early, saved ground into the home turn, angled out, passed tired rivals and offered a mild late rally. BAKER HAYFIELD clear pace, raced off the rail and weakened. C. P. A. JIM was unhurried early, raced three wide into the second turn and offered no rally. HEDGE THE RISK was void of any early speed, made a middle move while racing five wide into the second turn, drifted in and was empty. ONE GIANT LEAP was taken back early, went three wide into the second turn and never fired.
