TIME TO TELL tracked the pace three-wide while always in range of the front, had a little trouble with the lead change at the head of the stretch, but gradually narrowed the margin to the leader through the stretch and was just up in the last jump. WASTED WARRIOR had the best speed from the break and cleared away by two lengths early, maintained a clear lead through the turn, responded when set down at the head of the lane, and led every step but the last. MARKS GOLDEN BOY hustled away from the break to track WASTED WARRIOR, who was loose on the lead, got close midway on the turn, chased in vain through the stretch, weakened in the last sixteenth, and was passed for the place. CARL ERSKINE moved up on the rail after a tardy start, came in range of the leaders late on the turn, but could not sustain the bid and flattened out in the stretch. PERFECT DIAL raced in mid-pack down the backstretch, kept to task late, but was unable to make any impact. TAKE THIS CITY ducked out at the start,, was unable to keep up early on, started to rally imdway on the turn but flattened out in the stretch. HAPPY I AM gave an even effort. AMAZING MUSIC was three-wide near the back early, moved up to mid-pack on the turn, but was unable to advance any further. KALUKI got pinched back at the start, saved ground near the back of the main pack, hugged the rail into the stretch, but failed to rally. SKY SIMON raced wide and was never a threat. PRINCE OF MISCHIEF was under a hard ride from the start but unable to contest the early pace, was mid-pack to the turn, started to drop back through the field, and had little to offer late. WAR THEORY took a bump at the start and lost the path to the inner rival at the start, raced three-wide near the back and was never involved. BOYS GAME dropped back to last after a fairly level start, and was never involved.
