MINUETTA was reluctant to load, then was the middle horse in a five-way early speed battle, came into the stretch in third position, tipped out to the three path, and surged late to claim the top prize. HELENE'S POWER broke well, initially contested the pace five-wide, vied between a pair of rivals through the turn, finished well but had to settle for second. BIRD OF PREY steadied early, altered course to the outside, rushed up to take the lead passing the half-mile pole, had the advantage in upper stretch, but shortened strides in the final furlong and surrendered the lead in the final yards. MI DIAMANTE tracked behind the pace battle, kept on well late and was mildly gaining ground in the final furlong. OVER REACTED was the inside horse in a four-way battle for the early lead, could not keep up after passing the three-furlong pole, tried to come back on but was not quite doing enough in the late stages. BABY AUTOMATIC broke well and was hustled into the early pace scramble, dropped off the pace at the half, and was not involved in the last stages. SWIFTLIKETAYLOR outpaced from the break, raced mid-pack, came under a hard ride at the three-furlong pole, came out four-wide and finished evenly. PHILADELPHIA ROLL was slow to begin, chased at the back of the main pack, swung five-wide into the stretch, finished willingly, but could not make an impact. PARTY TRICK showed no interest and trailed far back throughout.
