TIS CHARMING was allowed to settle off the early pace, started a three-wide move on the far turn, finished well after having a little trouble switching leads, and surged ahead in the final yards. WISH MAN pressed the pace set by in the two-path while under mild restraint, ramped up the pressure at the five-sixteenths marker, carried a slight advantage into the stretch racing on the left lead, bested the pacesetter by mid-stretch, but could not hold off the winner. AMBIGUOUS saved ground near the rear, came out three-wide for the stretch run, and rallied to claim the third prize. CAUSE MIMI SAID won the race into the clubhouse turn, got some mild pressure from WISH MAN on the outside, battled back when confronted by that rival at the head of the stretch, but weakened in the closing stages. KING ADOLIS tracked close up in the two-path, then lacked a finish. DRAMA KING tracked close up along the rail just behind the leading pair, came under a ride approaching the quarter pole, but could not produce the needed response in the stretch and failed to menace. CLEMENTS RIDE settled at the back, struggled to keep pace on the far turn, and was unable to make up any ground in the stretch.
