GET DREAMY was pushed from the break to get forward position, took over the lead midway through the clubhouse turn, opened a clear lead down the backstretch while setting moderate fractions, took a short lead into the stretch, fended off a bid from SHOT OF COURAGE in upper stretch, and held safe from another late bid by the runner-up in the final jumps. STILL A SOLDIER broke outward, went three-wide into the clubhouse turn taken under a tight hold, pulled towards the leaders down the backstretch to be within range approaching the three-furlong pole, came under the crop near the quarter pole, kept to task down the lane, and was up for second and just short of getting the top prize. SHOT OF COURAGE tracked the pace in the two-path, made a three-wide bid for the lead at the top of the stretch, battled gamely but could not get to the winner. MISSING CODE was first into the turn, ceded the lead to GET DREAMY, then settled inside behind that one, had to be ridden along to keep up the pace late on the far turn, but went one-paced in the late stages. CAMP EVANS raced in the two path in the second flight, and was unable to produce a late bid. YOURAMYSTYLE saved ground near the rear of the tight field but lacked a finish.
