Footnotes
HE IS HEAVEN SENT settled off the pace while saving ground along the rail, waited patiently for room, slipped through an opening at the sixteenth pole, and surged clear late to win. RUSTY GADGET dueled inside of ROMAN EAGLE from the start, tried to slip away passing the three-eighths pole, battled tenaciously with that same foe through the stretch, but left the rail open for the winner and was outfinished. FLY RED BIRD FLY raced prominently early, was boxed in at the quarter pole, faltered briefly on the wrong lead, but recovered faltered briefly to make a mild late gain. ROMAN EAGLE dueled on the outside of RUSTY GADGET, dropped back slightly on the turn, dug in to come back and resume the duel through the stretch, but was ultimately outfinished. BRADIX raced close up to the early pace, swung five-wide into the stretch, and maintained a steady finish through the lane. FANDO tracked from mid-field while three to four-wide, became boxed in on the turn, and swung six-wide entering the stretch but lacked a late kick. AIR OF GHURAIR was the last away from the gate, trailed the field early, advanced five-wide at the three-eighths pole, and offered a late gain. IHAVETOOMUCHAIR settled in cover near the back of the pack, lacked a clear path through the turn, and made a mild late gain. ONE DEAL moved up to a better position after the start, raced in traffic mid-pack, but lacked a definitive finish in the drive. KEEPMOVINGFORWARD settled near the back of the field early, circled the field four-wide to mount a bid, but flattened out in the stretch. GOLDEN PURSUIT raced near the back of the pack, lacked a clear path heading into the turn, shifted four-wide, and lacked the necessary finish.
