Footnotes
HEAT UM UP broke out a bit at the start, got a forward position two or three wide down the backstretch, tracked the pacesetter through the turn, then kept to task in the stretch and wore down UNBRIDLED BLING on the lead in the final yards. UNBRIDLED BLING was hustled aggressively to make the early lead, went clear before the half, held sway through the turn, was still clear with a furlong to go, but failed to last. OUR PACT broke well to contest the early pace, ceded the front while staying in range, finished willingly, but came up a bit short. CURLY'S ONE THING dropped back after an even beginning, had a little trouble with the lead change at the top of the stretch, ran on some late but was not quite doing enough in the final yards. WON MORE TIME was outpaced early despite some coaxing from the rider, got over to the rail when clear, and finished with some interest but was never a serious threat. HE IS HEAVEN SENT was outrun and fell far back early and was never involved.
