MISS CODE WEST broke forwardly, was asked to maintain position, raced with the early leaders closest to the inside, fell back off that lead pack entering the turn, saved ground while patiently handled, got through along the rail, challenged inside the furlong grounds, dueled and proved best under firm handling. FINE FINISH in the second flight while off the inside, swept up to a challenging position five wide turning for home, battled, outdueled late. SASSI STRUTTER within striking distance early off the inside, moved closer and pressed four wide and between horses inside the winner, could not keep pace with that one late, saved the show. BANTERRA lacked speed inside, in some traffic into the turn, rode the rail when clear, followed the winner into the stretch, encountered additional traffic midstretch, dove inside the winner when reaching the gap and was going well at the end. PONDICHERRY vied early, chased the leader into and through the turn, came in the three path for the drive and tired. GHOSTLY NIGHT last away, raced back and was another who took the inside route through the turn, steered out a bit for the stretch run, staged a modest rally to better her position slightly. AFTERNOON DIVA with the early pace after breaking with the leaders, spurted clear clear to the turn, showed the way through the bend then weakened when confronted for the drive. WAVING BYE fell back to trail after the start, raced outside, five wide through the turn, not a threat in the drive. TERRA BELLA raced in mid pack early, was finished after three furlongs. DONTCALLITACOMEBAK broke sharply, quickly fell back and was also finished early.
