SWEET REBECCA away in good order, raced in the second flight while between rivals out of the chute, continued to sit a settled trip toward the inside the middle half mile, eased out into the three path late in the final turn, engaged the dueling leaders into the stretch, took over, edged clear and maintained to the wire under steady handling in a solid effort. LA FANTASTICA also raced behind the pace, off the inside through the second turn, three wide and behind the winner turning into the stretch, could not get to that one while finishing up willingly to be clear of the others. NINTH ISLAND broke well, set the pace while very rank into the first turn, continued keen onto the backstretch, dueled through some lively middle fractions, was unable to match the top two the final furlong while running on well to save the place. WANDERING KIRBY pressed the issue early off the inside, dueled through the final turn, also had something left for the drive while weakening slightly. TIZAWIZ void of early foot, advanced while saving ground through the second turn, improved into the stretch as a result then went flat the final furlong. LUCKY SPEECH last to leave, remained void of speed for six furlongs, improved position a bit in the drive with some modest late interest. MOONLIGHT GAMBLER raced in mid pack, went one paced through the final turn, failed to muster a closing response in the drive. ZITI (FR) forwardly placed off the inside, moved a bit closer to the dueling leaders far turn, floated out four wide by the winner turning for home and gave way. KENTUCKY ANGEL remained back throughout, no threat. AYE CANDY finished after a half, trailed in.
