Footnotes
HERE COMES BRAYLON broke well, narrowly set a pressured pace up the backstretch, continued to hold a small advantage when hounded through the turn, call on for run into the stretch, found more past the furlong marker and hung on doggedly while between horses at the wire. GAVEL closest to the leaders while along the inside, advanced and raced covered up along the rail early turn, continued to save ground turn while idling, crept closer once again in upper stretch, lacked a closing punch to be outkicked late. TRUST DADDY pressed the winner from the outside up the backstretch and through the turn, raced on equal terms with that one through midstretch while still outside, yielded late to surrender the runner up spot, well clear of the others. COMPETITIVE IDEA off a step slow, raced back off the leaders outside, three wide through the turn, continued evenly through the stretch in lacking a late response. JOSH'S DREAM also off slowly, remained back toward the inside.
