RED ROADSTER gained the lead into the turn, was briefly challenged on the turn, responded to his cue and kicked clear in the stretch. BRINK OF WAR led early, was headed into the turn, remained in a forward position throughout and stayed on. SPRINGTOWN settled well, moved closer on the turn and kept on in the stretch. BLACK VOLT hopped at the start, chased evenly and lacked a rally. STEEL LINK chased while three wide, moved four wide into the stretch and lacked a substantive rally. SUMMER HELP trailed early and passed tired ones. ROOSTER J was always outrun. THE DEVIL'S BET contested the pace, got outpaced leaving the turn and dropped back in the stretch. RAPID RETURN raced forwardly four wide and gave no response when asked. GRAPNEL broke outwardly, was outpaced while five wide and proved no factor.
