FOUR JIM settled away from the gate then tracked the early leaders, angled out nearing the quarter marker and made a three then four wide rally to upper stretch, confronted CINCO BLAKE and battled that foe into the final furlong, repelled the runner up in the final sixteenth and proved best. CINCO BLAKE hustled from the gate, took early command then dueled for pace duties heading to the turn, disputed the pace to the quarter marker, met the bid of FOUR JIM into upper stretch, battled that one past mid-stretch, was turned away in the final sixteenth and held safely for second. GO LANG showed good speed from the gate and was prominent early on, dueled for pace duties into the turn, contested the pace with CINCO BLAKE to the quarter marker then battled to upper stretch, was caught a bit in tight between foes at the three-sixteenths, shifted out and could not match strides with the top pair into the final furlong but was clear in the end for third. AMARGOSO crowded by an outer rival at the start, recovered then tracked the early leaders while saving ground, well placed along the inside into the turn, kept a rail path to upper stretch then could not muster the needed response in the lane. ADELYN'S ROCKING settled off of the early pace, coaxed three then four wide nearing the quarter marker, swung to the six path to upper stretch and did not offer a late response. NO REGRET veered in at the start and crowded an inner rival, settled off of the early pace while never far back, chased between rivals heading to the turn then angled out, ran in pursuit three wide to the quarter pole, couldn't find the needed response in the lane and weakened late. CRUZIN FOR GURLS broke a bit awkwardly and was last away from the gate, trailed into the turn, swung out for the stretch drive and did not make a late impact. THE FLYING FROG off slowly to begin, had one rival beaten heading into the turn, coaxed from the two path to upper stretch, did not factor in the stretch drive. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING IN UPPER STRETCH OF THIS RACE, AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
