SLEEPY ROSE broke alertly, took early command then sprinted clear, dictated terms while off of the rail nearing the quarter marker, widened the lead into the lane then drew off in the final furlong, coasted under hand urging in the late stages. G'S TWISTED TALE prominent in the early going, shifted outside of rivals and chased the pacesetter heading to the turn, ran in pursuit from the three path nearing the quarter pole, could not keep pace with the winner into the lane but stayed on to hold safely for second. ROCKIN' LILITH broke a bit slowly, recovered and saved ground while in mid-pack approaching the turn, kept an inside path to the stretch, needed more into the lane but held late for third. HOLIDAY CRUISE broke out at the start, settled in the second flight heading to the turn, coaxed two wide to the quarter marker, spun three then four wide for the stretch drive and was outkicked for third. LOVE ME SOME CANDY crowded an in tight between foes at the start, settled and saved ground to the turn, navigated traffic to upper stretch and lacked a final response. LIL' BIT UNBRIDLED crowded at the start but away in good enough order, ran in pursuit while widest heading to the turn, maintained a wide trip to the stretch and did not threaten in the final stages. NOTORIOUSLY broke slowly and was green in the early going, lacked speed to the turn, was outrun to the quarter marker then eased through the lane and walked off. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START, SPECIFICALLY LOOKING AT THE ACTIONS OF HOLIDAY CRUISE AND LOVE ME SOME CANDY, AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE MADE.
