MONEYSTRIKE assumed early command, set the pace while well handled along the backstretch, dictated terms to the far turn, kicked clear to upper stretch then kept to task into the final furlong, had pursuers coming on in deep stretch but held safely late for the win. MONEYLINE rated off of the early pace then settled to the backstretch run, kept an inside path to the far turn, tipped out to upper stretch and ran in pursuit of MONEYSTRIKE into the final furlong, closed the gap on the winner late but could not reel that one in and just held for second at the wire. HAMLIN settled while saving ground in the early going, roused into the far turn and kept an inside path to the stretch, angled out nearing the final sixteenth, closed willingly in deep stretch and just missed for second. GOLD PRIZE settled to the first turn, raced two deep along the backstretch run, swung to the three path to upper stretch, found his best stride late but could not impact the leaders late. RANGO broke a bit slowly and unhurried in the early going, coaxed two to three wide along the backstretch, maintained a two wide path to the stretch and mounted a mild late rally. ARIES HONOR hustled from the gate and prominent early, stalked the pacesetter to the backstretch run, kept close attendance to MONEYSTRIKE heading into the far turn, couldn't keep pace with the winner nearing the top of the lane and gave way. FIGHT'N READY allowed to settle, trailed to the half-mile marker, shifted to the three path along the far turn and did not offer a late rally. K Q SPIRIT unhurried early on, asked for run three wide to the far turn, coaxed from the two path to upper stretch, no threat in the late stages.
