Footnotes
PRIME ASSET was quickest to the turn, brushed off a bid from WESTERN SWAG on the turn, then drew clear under a hand ride. TEXATONIAN got away well, tracked just behind the pace, kept to the inside and responded when roused at the top fhe stretch, was making up some ground late but was never a serious threat to the winner. WESTERN SWAG pressed the pace two-wide, made a bid near the quarter pole but was rebuffed, kept on through the stretch but was outfinished for the place. ITS ALREADY DONE broke sharply but ceded the front, tracked well off the pace but could not get anywhere close to the top three. YOURGOINGTOJAIL veered out at the start, bothering the outside rival, chased five-wide through the turn, then raced a little greenly through the lane. TEN MOONS broke in a tangle when impeded by YOURGOINGTOJAIL at the start, spotted the field a head start, moved to the rail when clear, but was unable to regain contact. FOREVER BRUCE broke on top but was immediately overtaken, and quickly dropped far behind and showed little interest in the late stages.
