QUALITYSOULOFMINE tucked in a bit to same some ground behind the leaders past the wire the first time, moved closer in the two in the run up the backstretch and into the far turn, dueled into the lane, shook clear when straightened for home and was not seriously threatened in the run to the wire. NO BULL PETE settled off the pace and the inside, continued back final turn while in the two path, came on the outside for the drive, finished willingly well out in the course to be up for the place, not a serious threat to the winner. CAPTAIN FLATTER broke well, prompted the pace while racing three wide, closest to the dueling leaders into the lane, lacked a closing punch and was caught late for the runner up position. REMITTANCE raced in mid pack while off the inside, in some traffic in upper stretch, continued to be surrounded in the run to the wire, improved position while to late for the show spot. SHANGHAI CUPID void of speed, continued back while out in the course final turn, came four wide for the drive, also bettered his position with some belated interest. ZORRITOS DASH away well, showed the way inside, continued to set the pace backstretch, dueled with the winner second turn then began to falter when headed by that one entering the stretch. COASTAL WARRIOR moved inside to save ground first turn, moved a bit closer second turn then flattened out through the lane. FLAT OUT BLESSED within striking distance for five furlongs, gradually weakened. NONE BUT THE BRAVE broke back, moved up to race in mid pack, roused upper, came up empty the final furlong while continuing inside. FAIR WEATHER FLYER also broke back and was not heard from. FOOLISH MORTAL off a bit tardy as well, trailed throughout.
