Footnotes
CLASSIC MOMENT away in good order toward the inside, dueled up front along the rail, continued to battle through the turn, put a head in front when straightened for home, edged away and held the runner up safe under steady handling. ORE MINE forwardly placed on the outside, stalked the dueling leaders in the three path turn, set down for the drive, rallied to be up for the place, no real threat to the winner. AUGUSTA MELODY broke back, lacked speed while three wide into and through the turn, steered out widest for the drive, finished willingly down the middle of the strip to be in time for the show. TRUST DADDY broke with the leaders, fell back afterward, turned in an even effort off the inside while picking off a single tiring rival late. BRAHMS BOY broke with the winner, dueled with that one from the outside, continued on equal terms late in the turn, first to blink in upper stretch and gradually weakened in the run to he wire. FILLY CRYSTAL broke back, one paced along the inside, saved ground to no avail. HEZAKOOLKAT broke back as well , four wide through the turn, lacked a closing response.
