NEWS AT NINE broke with the leaders, settled in the second flight while four wide through the first turn, continued to race within striking distance up the backstretch, closer to he leader three wide, collared that one past the furlong marker, quickly clear, enough left to hold the runner up at bay. BOLD DISCOVERY broke back, lacked speed for over five furlongs, advanced five wide into the stretch, bothered soon after by a drifting MONGOLIAN MEMORY, responded when righted and was steadily getting to the winner in the final strides while too late. U. S. ARMY bothered at the start, lacked speed, in some traffic three wide turning into the stretch, improved while continued to be surrounded by foes. HE GOTS TO GO broke back, lagged while outrun off the inside, came four wide out of the final turn when shaken up, moved out a bit further to be widest, late surge to dramatically improve position. INTERSTELLAR broke on top, set the pace inside, continued to show the way final turn, faltered when headed by the winner nearing midstretch. ILLUSTRATOR in mid pack, saved ground, displayed some mild late interest up the inside. WOW THAT'S HOT broke in, tucked to the inside soon after, moved closer up the inside into the far turn, idled through that final bend while covered up, cut the corner into the straight, clear, lacked serious kick late. MONGOLIAN MEMORY in the main flight outside, five wide through the first turn, moved a bit closer and four wide through the second bend, lugged out upper stretch and had little left for the run to the wire. KAWAZAKI (IRE) away well, prompted the leader off the inside four six furlongs and gave way in the drive. PAINTBRUSH in mid pack early, was finished after a half. SHOGUN BE FAST forwardly place while three wide for five furlongs, backed up. CARLEA'S DREAM behind the pace four six furlongs while off the inside, gave way in the drive.
