Footnotes
ROOSTER J away in good order, raced forward and between horses out of the chute, chased the leader into the turn in the two path, moved on that one late in the turn, took over in upper stretch, held a daylight advantage in mid stretch and held the runner up safe late under steady handling. DUTTON'S SONG broke in the spotting the field a couple of lengths along with another rival, raced back, made a steady gain into a contending position four wide through the turn, came five wide for the drive, chased the winner home while slowly carving into that margin late. C W DAZZLE in the main body for a half, came three wide for the drive, dropped to the rail past the furlong marker, finished up best of the rest. AMORE void of speed, roused late in the turn, came four wide for the stretch run, rallied while remaining well out in the strip. SANDS OF TIME lacked speed, three wide out of the turn, staged a mild response to improve a bit upper stretch, flattened out in the final furlong. TIME ANDBEYOND made little impact after racing back early. RAPID RETURN broke alertly, showed the way up the backstretch off the inside, caved in when headed by the winner when straightened for home. DRYCREEK GOLD broke awkwardly, remained back and was not involved. FAIR HOPE chased the pace from along the inside four just under a half and gave way.
