Footnotes
HEDGE RATIO settled off the rail, off the pace, bid three wide entering the far turn, gained a short at the quarter pole, edged away in upper stretch, then dug in gamely in the two path, dueled with STAR SWEEPER to the wire and prevailed. STAR SWEEPER stumbled at the start, set the pace on the inside, dueled inside on the far turn, dropped back a bit, then battled back gamely on the rail past the furlong marker and dueled to the finish. NOBLE HERITAGE raced off the early pace on the inside, then tracked inside, chased on the far turn and weakened. BRICKLIN raced wide on the first turn, then stalked outside, chased between rivals on the far turn, came three wide into the lane and tired.
