PRIME MOTIVE raced off the pace inside, advanced at the quarter pole, rallied between horses past the furlong marker, closed willingly and drew clear for the win. TIGER MOON raced off the pace inside, advanced at the quarter pole, rallied five wide in midstretch and came up second best. FLOAT ON stalked the pace early on, chased three wide on the turn, bid three wide, gained a short lead in upper stretch and was outkicked. CHUCK WILLIS (IRE) showed sharp early speed to set the pace, dueled inside rivals at the quarter pole, dug in along the rail, then weakened. LANDLORD stalked the pacesetter early on, chased on the turn, bid between rivals at the quarter pole and tired. HEDGE raced off the rail, off the pace, came wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. BECAUSE THE NIGHT was outrun early and did not factor. AWESOME FOR SURE was outrun.
