JURISPRUDENCE pulled in the early stages racing close up three wide, then settled off the pace, bid three wide on the far turn, gained a short lead in upper stretch, responded when roused, dug in gamely to the finish and prevailed. PERSISTEN set the pace on the inside, dueled on the far turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the final furlong and battled willingly to the end. FRIDAYSWITHMURRAY raced off the pace with an inside trip, rallied on the rail entering the stretch, lacked room and steadied behind the pacesetter at the furlong marker, angled out and closed well outside. THAT SUN OF A GUN stalked close up two wide, bid between rivals on the far turn and weakened. TOOLPUSHER trailed on the inside and failed to threaten. VESPARO raced two wide off the pace, came wide into the stretch and weakened.
