SOFSTER tracked close up on the inside, chased on the turn, rallied inside in the stretch run, put a head in front near the sixteenth marker and drew clear late, driving. BEAUTIFUL BOLT set the pace racing off the inside, came wide into the stretch, responded when set down, dug in, then came up second best. ALLONS stalked close up outside, chased on the turn, was floated wide turning for home, then tired. SPECIAL AFFAIR was outrun early and did not factor.
