Footnotes
UNSOLVED MYSTERY vied two wide for the lead, dueled on the turn, took over turning for home, edged away, then responded when challenged and dug in gamely inside to hold off the runner up. CHARLIE'S BEAUTY broke a step slow, tracked the leaders on the inside, chased on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, closed steadily outside, dug in gamely to the finish and needed a bit more. DUELA DENT vied inside for the lead, dueled with the winner on the turn, weakened in the lane and held on for third. BERTIE'S CAUSE steadied at the start, raced off the pace inside, came three wide into the lane and closed belatedly. D' TIGER LILY raced off the rail, off the pace and gave way.
