LA RESOLANA steadied close up early near the five furlong marker, stalked two wide, chased on the turn, rallied three wide into the lane, responded willingly, charged to the front nearing the furlong marker and drew off under urging. COOL SPITE stalked close up three wide, chased outside on the turn, rallied four wide into the stretch, finished well but second best. BLUE MOON TIDE dueled two wide for the lead, dueled on the turn, led into the stretch, dueled briefly with the winner and weakened. RICHIE'S VALENTINE chased inside, was shuffled back a bit nearing the turn, then chased on the turn and lacked a rally. CASSIE'S VAULT dueled inside for the lead, dueled on the turn and faded.
