Footnotes
JETAROS stalked outside a rival, tracked the leaders on the turn, angled out at the top of the lane, closed willingly outside, rallied to the front and kicked clear under urging. JOHN JAY stalked the pace, tracked inside waiting for room on the turn, rallied on the rail in upper stretch, dug in and got second. SMITHWICK'S SPICE pressed the pace racing close up two wide, bid on the turn, dueled into the stretch, put a head in front, dug in to the finish and missed for the place spot. SUMMER BEE raced off the pace inside, moved up between horses on the turn, came four wide into the lane and rallied mildly outside. COLD FEET steadied on the inside leaving the chute and was shuffled back, then raced off the pace inside, continued on the rail in the stretch and lacked room through the final furlong. PANDEMIC HERO set the pace on the inside, dueled on the turn and weakened. JURISPRUDENCE raced off the rail, three wide on the turn and did not factor.
