BRAVE BEAR stalked the pace, chased on the turn, bid between rivals, took over turning for home, then dug in gamely, turned back a bid from the runner up and edged away, driving. DENYING raced off the rail, off the pace, moved up three wide on the far turn, bid three wide at the quarter pole, rallied outside in the lane, dug in gamely and came up second best. FLUFF THE PILLOW tracked on the inside, dropped back entering the far turn, came wide for the drive, closed belatedly and got up for third. SYNTACTIC set the pace racing with a clear lead, dueled briefly on the far turn and weakened. UNBRIDLED BOMBER stalked between rivals, chased inside on the far turn and lacked a rally. VENEZUELAN TRIUMPH raced three wide on the first turn, stalked three wide, chased two wide on the far turn and gave way.
