Footnotes
EAST AVENUE raced four wide off the pace, continued with a wide trip on the backside, rallied four wide passing the quarter pole, moved up to challenge BISHOPS BAY at the furlong marker, battled heads apart with that rival, surged at the finish and narrowly prevailed. BISHOPS BAY stalked close up two wide, vied two wide on the backside, dueled between rivals on the far turn, held a short lead into the stretch, dug in gamely inside of EAST AVENUE in the final sixteenth, dueled to the wire and just missed. SEA STREAK raced three wide on the first turn, stalked close up three wide, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled, weakened in the lane and bested the others. GRAND MO THE FIRST raced off the pace between rivals, chased inside on the far turn and had no rally. POINT DUME set the early pace, then vied inside for command, dueled on the far turn and gave way. GRANDE tracked on the inside, chased, lacked a response and gave way.
