GROUCH tracked close up on the inside, was in a bit tight on the rail midway on the turn, then made a rail bid, dueled with NATURAL HARDBOR into the stretch, responded when roused and drew clear late, driving. NATURAL HARBOR was bumped at the start, stalked close up two wide, bid three wide on the turn, dueled two wide into the stretch, dug in gamely and came up second best. LORD BERRIER was bumped at the start, raced off the rail, off the pace, came three wide into the lane, rallied mildly and got third. PRIME MOTIVE raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn, angled out and gained mildly. HEY BUDDY raced off the pace, chased on the turn and had no rally. CHARLIE'S EXPRESS away alertly, set the pace on the inside, dueled briefly on the turn and gave way. SKYLANDER was off slowly, raced off the rail and was outrun.
