LA RESOLANA steadied in the chute, raced off the rail, off the pace, came two wide into the lane, angled out in upper stretch, closed willingly outside, hooked up with ONE FINE WINE in the final sixteenth and proved best. ONE FINE WINE stalked between rivals early, then inside on the turn, rallied on the rail into the stretch, closed inside, finished well and dug in gamely to the end. LIDIA ROSE set the pace racing with a clear lead, dueled between rivals past the furlong marker, weakened and held for third. SLICK MERLIN was bumped at the start, tracked on the inside, chased on the turn, steadied slightly between horses at the furlong marker and was outkicked. I CAN EXPLAIN was bumped at the start, raced off the rail, off the pace, chased on the turn and had no rally. AIR MASQUE stalked two wide, chased on the turn and tired. BLUE MOON TIDE stalked three wide, chased on the turn and tired. SPEIGHTFULELECTION raced off the pace inside and did not factor. PURPLE LU LU was off a bit slow and outrun. LAST FLAG FLYING was off a bit slow and outrun.
