Footnotes
ISLAND SPIRIT stalked three wide, then two wide on the turn, bid at the quarter pole, took over in the stretch, drew clear at the sixteenth marker, then held on late under urging. MAMBRINO tracked on the inside, chased on the turn, came three wide into the lane, rallied outside, closed steadily late and was gaining at the finish. MORE POWER set the pace racing with a clear lead, dueled with the winner at the quarter pole, dug in to midstretch and weakened inside. FOIL stalked close up between rivals, chased on the turn and had no rally. BLUE MARBLE trailed the field, came three wide into the lane and did not factor.
