POST COMMAND raced off the rail, off the pace, moved up three wide on the far turn, came three wide into the lane, rallied in the midstretch, closed willingly late and was up in time. SMITHWICK'S SPICE stalked two wide, chased two wide on the far turn, bid at the quarter pole, drew clear in upper stretch, dug in gamely to the finish and was caught in the final strides. SMUGGLER'S GOLD tracked on the inside, chased between rivals on the far turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied in midstretch, bid and was outkicked. WILD JAIME raced off the pace inside, came three wide into the lane, was in a bit tight at the top of the stretch, then rallied mildly. FRANKIE G dueled inside for the early lead, then tracked on the inside, chased on the far turn, made a rail bid entering the stretch and finished evenly. CLEVER CHARLIE steadied at the start, raced off the pace inside, came two wide into the lane and closed belatedly. WORD FOR WORD trailed on the inside, went four wide past the quarter pole and failed to threaten. OHANA EMPIRE raced three wide early, settled off the rail, off the pace, came four wide into the lane and weakened. LECANTO raced two wide off the pace, three wide on the far turn and did not factor. JUST COMPLY dueled two wide for the early lead, took over on the backside, dueled past the quarter pole and faded. LEO MONTE was off slowly, raced three wide early, settled off the pace and did not factor. A Jockey's Objection by the rider of WILD JAMIE against SMUGGLER'S GOLD was dismissed.
