RAKU vied two wide for the lead, dueled with EVEN UP on the turn, led into the stretch, raced a bit greenly passing the furlong marker, then shook free at the sixteenth pole and drew clear under urging. SIX STITCHES chased the pace, chased on the turn, rallied outside in the final furlong and closed well for second. EVEN UP away alertly to the early lead on the inside, dueled with the winner on the turn, dug in on the rail in the stretch run and just held on for third. BEST DEAL was off a bit slow, raced off the pace inside, came two wide into the lane, rallied mildly and just missed for the show award. VINTAGE WIZ raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn and had no rally. READY INVENTOR raced off the rail, off the pace, three wide on the turn and did not factor.
