T he owner of the winner to receive $600,000, $200,000 to second, $100,000 to third, $50,000 to fourth, $30,000 to fifth and $12,500 to sixth through last. Weight: 122 lbs. Non-winners of a Grade 1 stakes at a mile or over in 2026 allowed 3 lbs. Prefe rence by graded stakes earnings. Maximum of 14 starters. The NYRA Bets Haskell Stakes has been selected as one of the Breeders' Cup "Win and You're In" Challenge Races. The nominated winner of the NYRA Bets Haskell Stakes will be entitled to automatice ntry into the 2026 running of the Breeders' Cup Classic Championship race and will be entitled to have pre-entry and entries fees waived for the Championship race and receive a travel award if shipping from a base located outside the Commonwealth of Kentt ucky. BABY VINO raced off the pace inside, moved up along the inside into contention at the half mile marker, made a rail bid on the far turn, dueled with NAPOLEON SOLO into the stretch, battled heads apart with that rival through a spirited stretch run, exchanged some light bumps in tight quarters and edged away late for the win. NAPOLEON SOLO raced wide into the first turn with the lead, set the pace while racing off the inside, dueled two wide on the far turn, battled heads apart with BABY VINO in the stretch run, exchanged some light contact, dug in gamely to the finish and came up second best. IRON HONOR raced two wide off the pace, chased two wide on the far turn, came three wide into the lane and rallied for third. THE PUMA bobbled at the break, raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the far turn, came two wide into the lane, rallied and was outkicked for third. FURTHER ADO raced three wide early, stalked the pacesetter on the backside, chased three wide on the far turn, lacked a rally, then tired. STAR SWEEPER tracked on the inside, then chased two wide and faded. OCELLI raced two wide off the pace, chased three wide on the far turn and gave way. After a Stewards' Inquiry into the stretch run, the race was declared official.
