ROSCOE PINE vied two wide for the early lead, then tracked close up inside, bid two wide entering the far turn, took over, drew clear and moved away under urging. MOHS pulled in the early stages, then stalked outside, chased on the far turn, rallied three wide into the lane, dug in gamely and came up second best. INTO IT vied inside for the lead, dueled inside on the backside, chased on the far turn and stayed on well to save the show spot. MAGICAL MARRIAGE raced three wide early, moved up outside on the backside to contest the pace, then chased three wide and finished evenly. OHIO JOE tracked on the inside, was in tight and hit the rail entering the far turn, checked sharply, then failed to threaten. SELL SOMETHING raced off the pace, chased three wide on the far turn, came four wide into the lane and lacked a rally. MODICA was off slowly and outrun. After a Stewards' Inquiry and Jockey Objection by the rider of OHIO JOE against INTO IT, the race was declared official.
