TEPEYAC raced two wide off the pace, moved up midway on the turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied outside, closed willingly in the final furlong and surged late for the win. HEAVY TIMBER raced off the pace, advanced inside on the turn, moved up on the rail, angled out in upper stretch, rallied two wide and dug in gamely to the finish. MORE POWER tracked on the inside, chased on the turn, rallied two wide into the stretch, bid between rivals, outkicked, then in tight and steadied late. IDENTITY CRISIS set the pace racing with a clear lead, responded when roused, dug in along the inside and weakened late. NEW YORK STRONG raced off the pace inside, chased on the turn, angled out at the furlong marker and closed belatedly outside. LEIGH'S LAST HERO raced off the rail, off the pace, chased on the turn, raced behind horses into the stretch and failed to rally. LUCKY TWIST chased two wide, chased on the turn, came three wide into the lane and weakened. TWIRLING EXPRESS was outrun. There was a Stewards' Inquiry into the stretch run, along with a Jockey Objection by the rider of MORE POWER against the top two finishers, after which the result was declared official.
