Footnotes
PEGGYSUE I LOVE U away alertly, set the pace racing in the two path, showed the way on the turn, responded when roused in the stretch, drew clear and was kept to the task. REE NEE'S SIX stalked the pace, chased on the turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied outside and came up second best. DON'T TELL TAMMO chased close up on the inside, chased on the turn and finished evenly inside in the lane. SEA MAIDEN chased close up outside, made a bid on the turn and tired. ONCE AN EAGLE was outrun.
