SURF'S UP set the pace on the inside, was pressed on the turn, responded when roused entering the stretch, dug in gamely in the final furlong and held off the runner up. TARTARIAN raced off the pace, chased three wide on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, dug in gamely outside of SURF'S UP in the final furlong but needed a bit more. MAGIC BAY chased close up two wide, bid between rivals at the quarter pole, weakened in the lane and held on for third. MAN WITH THE MONEY chased inside, chased on the turn and closed belatedly on the rail. BLISS STREET chased between rivals early on, chased on the turn, came four wide into the lane and tired.
