Footnotes
AUDEN set the pace on the inside, dueled inside rivals on the far turn, battled back gamely passing the furlong marker, regained command, edged away and drifted out a bit in the final yards. SILENT RAGE stalked two wide, bid between rivals on the far turn, dueled between horses in the stretch drive, dug in gamely, was outfinished and then steadied behind the winner nearing the wire. IT'S AUTHENTIC raced two wide off the pace, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled outside rivals in the stretch drive and was outfinished. JUST CHEESY tracked on the inside, then chased, was asked on the far turn and failed to respond. QUANTUM NUMBER was outrun inside. TAP TAP RUSS broke a step slow, raced four wide early, then was injured at the three quarter pole, pulled up and transported off the track in the Equine Ambulance. Following the race there was a Stewards' Inquiry into the first turn run and a Jockey Objection by the runner up against the winner, which was dismissed.
