ADMIRAL MO tracked the pacesetter, bid two wide on the far turn, took over, edged away, then drifted out sharply at the furlong marker bumping NOBLE HERITAGE, dug in gamely after that and was all out late to narrowly hold on. NOBLE HERITAGE was off a bit slow, raced off the pace, chased on the far turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, moved up outside of ADMIRAL MO to challenge, then was bumped soundly at the furlong marker, re rallied outside, dug in gamely to the finish and just missed. FROSTY THE GIANT raced wide into the first turn, set the pace racing with a clear lead, dueled on the far turn and faded. After a Stewards' Inquiry and Jockey Objection, ADMIRAL MO was disqualified and placed second for interference in the stretch run.
