BEST NOT MISS pulled in the early stages contesting the pace close up on the rail, was shuffled back nearing the turn, moved up inside, rallied outside entering the stretch, shifted out from a drifting ARIA D at the furlong marker, then wore down that rival to prevail. ARIA D broke outward, vied outside for the early lead, took over to set the pace, shook free on the turn, drifted out at the furlong marker, then dug in gamely inside of the winner and battled on to the finish. AUTHENTIC LADY raced off the pace inside, chased on the turn, came three wide into the lane and lacked a rally. MY HONEY MOTHER was off a bit slow, raced two wide off the pace, chased on the turn and tired.
