CUGINO stalked close up two wide early, then settled two wide off the pace, chased three wide on the far turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, closed willingly outside of THERE ARE NO WORDS, wore down that rival at the sixteenth marker and edged away for the win. THERE ARE NO WORDS pulled some in the early stages, set the pace on the inside, shook free on the far turn, responded when roused, dug in gamely inside in the stretch run, yielded, then held well for the place award. SHRUG raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the far turn, angled out at the furlong marker and rallied outside. BIG EVEREST (GB) broke a step slow, pulled in the early stages, steadied a bit entering the first turn, then pressed the pace racing two wide, chased on the far turn and gave way.
