Footnotes
DEVIL'S TOWER moved up early to contend then waited into the turn before splitting horses at the 3/8 pole and led into the stretch, drawing off in the final sixteenth. ROCKET DRAGON settled early and tucked in then made a rail rally at the top of the stretch before angling out mid-stretch to made a late gain. HOLIDAY HOUSE rated in the second flight early with a four wide trip then made a bid between horses into the stretch and ran on late. CHANNEL FURY was void of early speed with a rail trip then angled six wide at the 1/4 pole and was gaining belatedly. BOOTS MALONE stalked the early pace then loomed to contend at the 3/8 pole and made a bid but gave way in the stretch. YOU BET A FORTUNE broke sharply and set the pace while opening up early but was headed on the turn and steadied at the 1/4 pole before fading in the stretch.
