INDIAN FEVER moved up and assumed command while setting a slow pace then was headed nearing the 3/8 pole but fought back and drew clear late. RED HEAD KID moved up and chased the early pace then made a steady advance into the turn and loomed to challenge at the 1/4 pole, running on while second best. PAINT THE TOWN rated in the middle of the pack then was asked while five wide and made a bid, resulting in a mild rally late. SAMMY'S SMILE settled early with a four wide trip then made a steady advance on the second turn before making a bid at the 1/4 pole but flattened out in the final eighth. THAT'S THE WAY got squeezed at the start then tucked in for the run on the backstretch and into the second turn before angling six wide into the stretch and showed some run late. HITE rated in the second flight early and saved ground then was urged nearing the 3/8 pole but made no rally late. NEED TO KNOW BASIS stalked the early pace while racing along the rail then made a bid nearing the 1/2 pole and took a brief lead but failed to sustain that bid and faded into the turn. A PRAYER FOR KIDS got squeezed at the start and dropped back early then drifted eight wide at the 1/4 pole and was eased across the wire.
