Footnotes
HOLIDAY COAL got away alertly and stalked the early pace then took over the lead on the second turn and opened up, winning in hand. ISA FORTRESS hustled early while five wide for position and chased the early pace then made a bid between horses at the 3/8 pole and ran on to be second best. TEAM CHIQUITA chased the pace while four wide early before being carried six wide nearing the 1/4 pole then lugged in for the stretch run and made a mild rally late. EVAN COME HOME settled early then split horses and moved to closer contention nearing the 5/8 pole before drifting out at the top of the stretch and made a mild rally late but missed for show. PLEASURE PEARL moved up and assumed command along the inside to set the pace before being headed in the second turn and dropped back. SHESTHEPERFECTSONG hopped at the start then rated in the middle of the pack early before being urged along the rail nearing the 1/2 pole but had no response. BEYOND SAY was void of early speed while racing six wide through the first turn then tucked in for the backstretch run but lost contact with the field and was eased across the wire.
