J J'S TRUE BET broke alertly, allowed the early to go, collared that one midway on the turn, gained the advantage, clear in upper stretch, held the winner at bay the final furlong while kept to pressure. LIKE A DIAMOND forwardly placed outside, continued to stalk three wide through the turn, set down late in the bend, chased upper stretch, fell back a bit past the furlong marker, moved inside and managed a minimal gain late. SKY HIGH ANGEL behind the pace, came in the two path for the drive, proved no match for the top two the final furlong while remained clear of the others. KAVA fell back to trail after the start, remained sluggish for three furlongs, began to advance late in the turn, moved out and improved position significantly through the lane while too late. ROYAL B bumped, off slowly, lacked speed toward the rail, improved inside of rivals upper stretch, flattened out a bit the final furlong. MONETA forwardly placed off the inside, in tight entering the stretch, steadied briefly, moved out, four wide into the stretch, came up empty when asked. CLOSDATGATE void of early foot, dropped inside by late in the turn, picked off a couple of tiring foes in finishing up evenly. DELIVER DAWN broke in, bumped with ROYAL B to be off slowly,had little for the drive. RE RE'S ROCKET moved up after the start along the inside to show the way up the backstretch, gave way when headed by the winner midway on the bend. BEST OF MAX steadily faded while racing three out to four wide.
